Diamond-Like Dreams Charity Kit PRE-ORDER

“Diamond-Like Dreams” is a limited edition jersey for charity that Black Diamonds is partnering with Olive & York to manufacture. This is a opportunity to help Denym Lodge, a 15-year-old Black soccer player from New Mexico, raise funds to fund his trip to England this winter with his club soccer team, Rio Rapids.

Each player has to raise their own funds. This has been a challenge for Denym, as his parents have only been able to make a payment toward his air and land package to secure his spot. Denym has participated in team fundraising events, but this hasn’t helped him much individually. Susie, who is the team fundraising chair, was connected with Black Diamonds hoping to learn about any scholarships available for Black youth. Black Diamonds wasn’t aware of any scholarships at the time.

Black Diamonds, instead, offered to launch a fundraising effort in the form of this charity jersey to both help fund Denym’s trip and also show Denym how many soccer supporters believe that he should be able to experience this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

"Hello, my name is Denym. I have been playing soccer since I can remember. My parents have always supported me in my passion to play. My team and I have the opportunity of a lifetime! We have been invited to play in England. We will have the honor of training with Manchester City coaches and play against their academy teams. I'm extremely excited. Please help me get there.
