We partnered up with supporters groups and designer @haleybmurphy13 to design a kit that raised money for the kids after school program D.C. Scores, and had special touches throughout the design.
The Community Spirit charity kit is full of special elements that are meant to convey the message of Community Spirit. From the original poem written by Jim called "Community Spirit", the twelve stripes representing the 12th player, the championship star, the list of schools that D.C. Scores services in the DMV, the Spirit Squadron GiGi inspired crest (found on the Matchday guide under Traditions) with cherry blossom detail dedicated to Stumpy, to the inside of the collar detail of Solidaridad and the ASL sign for I Love You.. Even the font is a custom font, created by Haley from her nieces handwriting as they contributed to the content.
All these elements come together to bring the steel blue home kit, lemon venom yellow away, and black & red third kit for those who share the supporters section throughout the year. Buy one, buy them all, or even gift one to a friend. Proceeds go to support D.C. Scores and the kids of the DMV.
