Drawing inspiration from all things DC, "The Scarlet Kit" is the debut jersey for DC's Rose Room Collective, The Washington Spirit and DC United's POC supporters group. Named after Washington DC's official tree, the Scarlet Oak, "The Scarlet Kit" boasts the group's logo, colors, and rose petal imagery. Connecting the kit further to the city it represents, running down the front of the jersey in white and maroon, are the names of each of DC's neighborhoods.
On the back of the jersey is the number 12, representing the diehard fans rooting on both of DC's professional soccer teams. Our favorite detail, below the number, is a saxophone as a nod to DC's Duke Ellington and the group's favorite social media tradition (IYKYK)!
