The Connections Kit is a tribute to the spaces, stories, and spirits that shaped Atlanta’s queer legacy. At its core, a bold Mondrian-style map of Midtown overlays the streets that connected us — in protest, in dance, in survival. Each block is filled with Pride flag colors, transforming the map into a vibrant tapestry of identity and community.

This jersey honors the 1997 bombing of the Otherside Lounge, a lesbian bar that became a national symbol of both queer resilience and Southern defiance. The number 97 printed on every jersey is not just a date — it’s a reminder: you can’t bomb away queer joy.

On the sleeves, we honor two more pillars of Atlanta’s queer culture:

Backstreet Atlanta, the iconic 24-hour nightclub that pulsed through decades of Southern queer nightlife, providing a space where drag, house music, and chosen family thrived even when the outside world tried to shut them out.

The Armorettes, Atlanta’s legendary drag camp comedy troupe, have raised over $2.3 million for HIV/AIDS causes since 1979. Known for their blend of raunch and righteous fundraising, they represent queer care in action — sequins with a mission.
