I was beyond stoked to order this thing and when it arrived I immediately put it on, ready to sport it for my next match of pick up. Both designs are slick and look great! The big disappointment for me, is that it's essentially just two kits sewn together, which means it FEELS like you're wearing two kits at the same time. Being someone who wears these for actual activity, that's a pretty uncomfortable situation. As well, the fit was super boxy similar to something from Old Navy.
I was going attempt to take the kit apart at the seems and just have two kits. However, there is only one collar, so if you did that you'd have to decide which kit gets a collar and which doesn't.
I was actually going to order the TACO flip kit as well, until I received the Gray's Lake kit and then worried I'd run into the same issue with the TACO one.
The concept is interesting, the follow through, not so much.
This kit is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric, the embroidery, the stitching... All top-notch. I was so excited to put it on, but I found that I couldn't get it over my shoulders and chest. I realize I'm a bigger guy, but 3X shirts are always comfortable, bordering on roomy. This 3X fit more like an XL. The wife claimed it for herself, and it looks great on her. I think O&Y might just need different models for the upper sizes.
