100% of proceeds will be donated to the Lilith Fund for Reproductive Equity, an established and respected Texas organization providing financial assistance and emotional support to abortion seekers in Texas, without apology and with considerable compassion.
Designed with input from Texans, they say: The inspiration was twofold: Sarah Weddington and San Antonio's Fiesta colors. She had hoped that after Casey, Roe was settled law, and although she is no longer with us, her spirit inspires. She was a young law school graduate when she challenged Texas' abortion law and triumphed at the Supreme Court, and all of us should cultivate that same feeling inside us.
Thus, Weddington Football Club was born.
We wanted the colors of the jersey to reflect the vibrancy and dynamism of the movement. You wear this and folks are going to SEE it, and they're going to read that message on the front.
Reproductive Justice is intersectional and inclusive...it's more than just bodily autonomy or freedom of choice. The road is long and we are weary but we can pick each other up and keep fighting.
Designed by Zephyros Designs, this shirt will feature a sublimated badge.
NOTE: This was a pre-order until July 31st. Shirts will arrive approximately 4-5 weeks after that date. Every shirt will have #73 on the back, representing 1973, the year Roe was decided.
